Disappointing Week Does Not Mean I Shouldn't Post

I continue to hit the gym every day like clock work and eat healthy each day. I haven't deviated from my plan. On Thursday I had weigh in and lost only 1 pound. The disappointment was immense. I'd have rather gone to Dunkin Donuts and bought a dozen doughnuts rather than go to the gym but off I went. I pushed myself harder feeling like I'd already hit a plateau, unfortunately all that did was hurt my back and my left calf.

The next day saw me with a stomach bug and feeling like death warmed over. Today I'm feeling better and have been able to eat so only two days of not being at the gym. Although I'm really sad I missed two days, I'm realizing I have to listen to my body.

I did do a little research on the week 2 curse as it's called. I have no idea if it is real or not but there are a lot of people out there who seem to have gone through it so I'm hoping I'll see something this next week. Also, I've decided to weigh in each day. The anticipation of waiting a week doesn't help me. I know I'll have a loss from being sick but I'm taking it!

I haven't made any recipes really. I've made pretty plain food as I've been busy in other areas of life but I did buy a spaghetti squash so am anxious to try it. I've never had any. I also bought Chocolate PB2 to add to my protein shakes. I miss peanut butter! I will let you know how that tastes also!
